Alex Willis- Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instuctor

Alex is originally a Butcher with a passion for Kickboxing as a hobby. Kickboxing sparked an interest in fitness and health for Alex which pushed him to undertake a Diploma in Fitness Training at AUT. After achieving this, Alex spent the next few years working at a local gym and soon realised that Kickboxing is a great way to get fit and shouldn't necessarily be associated with the kind of organised fights you see on TV. This is when he decided to create Kickboxing classes that catered for the normal person- North Shore Kickboxing. Now, his fun and challenging classes can be experienced by more people, more often and Alex can mix his passion for Kickboxing with his passion for people.

Helen

Helen prefers the fitness side of kickboxing and therefore focuses her attention on the circuit classes. Through doing kickboxing for fitness Helen has learned that kickboxing is not necessarily an aggressive sport and is suitable for everyone. She really enjoys seeing people's confidence grow as they push themselves in something they have never tried before.
